The way it used to be done…

In my younger days, I found myself needing some full-size drawings for a project I was making.

However, instead of paying several hundred dollars for a board I might only use once, I went shopping, and $50 later had everything I needed to build this, which I wound up using for several years.

I have the tools, but not the board. This looks great.

I finally reached the point where I no longer needed a board this large, and replaced it with a smaller one. Still have the smaller board, but rarely use it since switching to CAD. Speaking of CAD, I used the free version of a package called Sketchup to design those bathroom vanities I posted on here, and also used it for most of the design of the addition we built on our barn.
