Fortunately this wasn’t one of mine

High winds caused this in early 2000. That’s the official story at any rate. But not the whole story. Even I don’t know the whole story, and I used to install these things. Fact is, I was doing just that at another location when the phone rang, and I was given a list of things to check on my antenna. Found a few things that weren’t quite right and soon received a ‘care package’ of sorts, containing everything I needed to make sure the antenna I was installing didn’t suffer the same fate as this one.
