Despite its unusual name, this site is about making things, but a better way to describe it might be to say it’s about my way of making things, which often differs from conventional methods. A prime example of this can be found in my post on building a bathroom vanity.
Since most of what I build is from wood, the majority of my shop time is spent in this building, which my dad built shortly after he retired.
I do, however, occasionally get the urge to make sparks instead of sawdust, and when that happens I’ll simply stroll across the yard to this building.
Speaking of this building, we finally got tired of moving the cars every time we wanted to do something, so we built an addition to the front of it. An article highlighting the process can be found here.
